Candace Apple of the Phoenix & Dragon, the metaphysical bookstore featured in SPECTRE, shared with me several experiences that she and several of her employees have had with different entities and incidents after moving there in 1995.

Being a great supporter of the store, I wanted to bring a few of those stories into Zoë's world and make the store's stories a part of the Abysmal Series lore.
